Prism Hardscapes Rotondo

Quality and durability seems to be quite good. However the pictures on the manufacturer's website and what is actually sent doesn't look the same. The resin composite mixed in the concrete (pewter color for me) isn't blended as well as it looks in online pictures. There are fairly large spots black resin mixed in the concrete. Also, online pictures show what appears to be a stainless steel ring around the inner pit. There is nothing provided other than the flat stainless steel burner, that is hidden. I notified the manufacturer and they said it must be an old stock photo, because there is no inner ring that sits atop the or inside the burner ring. The look from the online pictures looks much nicer. Also, the fire table is shipped with Lava Rock. Be careful, the lava rock when they absorb moisture will pop, potentially sending out fragments of hot lava rock on to users of the fire table. I used Lava Rock for about a week until a guest was hit with a hot shard. I replaced with tempered reflective glass. If you dry out the laval rock each time before use, or keep the table covered, it could reduce the moisture risk. This isn't a problem with the Prism Hardscapes table, however, there should be an option to choose glass instead of Lava Rock. In addition, for the price, they should provide a $10 flex hose to connect to the gas source. You or you plumber will need to provide the flex hose when installing. Lastly, they ship via Freight (Fed Ex freight for me) the item will just be dropped off on a pallet outside. The pallet weighs 580 lbs. Moving to your desired location is not an option. I was putting the fire table in my back yard, and there is no way for the truck driver (with a pallet-jack only) to move it to my back yard. Once the pallet is broken down, and the lava rocks removed. The table still weighs about 400-450 lbs. We needed five grown men to carry it to my back yard. I still rated the Rotondo 4 stars (spelled incorrectly on Fire Pit Oasis "Rotundo"). It is 48" in diameter, and the bottom/inside is hollow, so you can move the fire table around easily using a flex hose, to position it exactly where you want it. I am also purchasing a round glass wind guard, which I think is necessary. Not offered by Prism, but probably by your vendor for the table.
